Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Driving Schools Directory website ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About the Service

Driving Schools Directory is an online directory that helps South African learner drivers find driving schools in their area. We also provide driving schools with tools to list and promote their businesses. We are not a driving school ourselves and do not provide driving tuition.

2. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading or fraudulent information about any driving school.
• Submit fake reviews or attempt to manipulate ratings.
• Use the Service to spam, harass or harm other users or listed businesses.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Use any automated tool (bot, scraper, spider) to extract data from the Service without our prior written consent.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Listings and Business Owners

Driving schools that list their business on the Service ("Business Owners") agree that:

• All information provided is accurate, up to date and not misleading.
• Uploaded images and content do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• They will promptly update their listing if their details change.
• Paid plans (Featured, Premium) are subject to the pricing and payment terms displayed at the time of purchase. Plans auto-renew unless cancelled.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any listing that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful, fraudulent, or misleading.

5. Reviews

Users who submit reviews agree that their reviews are honest and based on genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove any review that is abusive, defamatory, or in violation of these Terms. We do not verify every review and are not liable for review content.

6. Payments and Refunds

Paid plan subscriptions are processed through our payment partner (PayFast). All payments are in South African Rand (ZAR). Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Driving Schools Directory or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

By submitting content (reviews, images, descriptions) to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not endorse any particular driving school listed on the Service and make no warranties about the quality or suitability of any listed business.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Driving Schools Directory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
